Aerial Lift Operator

Aerial Lift Operator (29 CFR 1910 Subpart F, 1926 Subpart L)

  • Many people call these “manlifts”. OSHA titles it as “Aerial Lift” equipment and can include Bucket Trucks, Scissor Lifts, Suspended Platforms, Cherry Pickers, Knuckle Booms, etc.  Lifting employees to working heights can be dangerous.  If there are unqualified workers at the controls, fatalities occur.  Safety, Inc. trains your workers to safely operate these lifts in accordance with OSHA’s 29 CFR 1910.67, .68, 1926.453, and ANSI A92.2.
  • This operator course typically lasts 8-hours for ten (10) participants. Each operator must pass a written examination and then demonstrate safe operations for each type of aerial lift. For those operators who have been previously trained, a refresher course is required every three (3) years.
