Scaffolding

Scaffolding (29 CFR 1910 Subpart D, 1926 Subpart L)

  • OSHA requires those who work on a scaffold to be trained in the proper use of scaffolding. This 2-hour course provides general awareness to appropriately identify hazards scaffolding users.
  • OSHA also requires a ”competent person” to erect, dismantle, and inspect scaffolds. This 8-Hour training comprehensively covers the OSHA 29 CFR 1910.28 General Industry and the 29 CFR 1926.450 Construction regulations.  Each participant must demonstrate sufficient knowledge by properly erecting a scaffold and performing an inspection of a problematic scaffold.
