Welding – Cutting – Brazing

Welding – Cutting – Brazing (29 CFR 1910 Subpart Q, 1926 Subpart J)

  • The Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s regulation for welding and cutting (29 CFR 1910.252 and 1926.350) requires welders to operate safely and employers to provide the necessary engineering, administrative, and personal protective equipment to keep welders safe. Burns, skin and eye flashes, inhalation of heavy metals, and material handling injuries are common results from improper safety controls.
  • Safety, Inc. can provide a 2-4 hour safety training course that will benefit welders of any level. This course covers the OSHA standards, Fire Protection Requirements, General Worker Protection Requirements, Oxygen/Acetylene Welding/Cutting, and Arc Welding regulations.
